Intelius founder charged with lies to grand jury
SEATTLE
A co-founder of the Internet background-check and people-search company Intelius Inc. has been indicted on charges he lied to a Seattle grand jury about sex acts at a strip club.
John Kenneth Arnold, who is listed as executive vice president of business development on the company’s Web site, was scheduled to make an initial appearance in federal court on Thursday following his arrest.
The indictment alleges that Arnold lied to a grand jury when he testified he had never engaged in sex acts with dancers at Rick’s. The investigation was part of the government’s racketeering investigation of the club’s owner, Frank Colacurcio Sr.
The company did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
