ICE: 3 Calif. Spas Were Fronts For Prostitution

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Two people from Washington state operated massage parlors in Sacramento and Lodi that were actually fronts for prostitution, immigration officials alleged Thursday.
Tham Nguyen, 48, and Suong Tran, 51, were taken into custody Thursday after agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, along with local authorities, executed federal search warrants at the businesses. A federal grand jury issued a two-county indictment Wednesday.
Immigration officials said the pair operated AAH Spa on North Cherokee Lane in Lodi, Valley Spa on North California Street in Lodi, and Healthy Living Nails and Spa on 47th Avenue in Sacramento. They also operated spas in Washington and a legal brothel in Nevada, immigration officials claimed.
