A Marysville woman accused of running a brothel in Seattle’s Eastlake neighborhood has been charged with promoting prostitution.
In charging documents filed Wednesday, King County prosecutors claim Vivian Walker Ellis — also known as Rainbow Love — was operating a brothel out of the Sacred Temple massage parlor in the 3100 block of Eastlake Avenue East.
Police launched the investigation into her alleged activities in June 2008 after a desk clerk reported that she’d quit her job after being asked to touch clients in a sexual manner. A review of Internet sites a showed several reviews of the “Tantric type of massage parlor” at which men received such contact as well as “body surfing,” according to charging documents.
