SEATTLE (AP) — A 29-year-old SeaTac man was sentenced Friday in Seattle to 15 years in prison for forcing young women to work for him as prostitutes.
The U.S. attorney’s office says Ronnie Leon Tramble pleaded guilty in December in federal court to sex trafficking through force, fraud and coercion.
He came to the attention of police in 2010 in Kent when officers encountered a juvenile prostitute who said Tramble beat her and advertised her on Backpage.com.
Prosecutors say Tramble forced more than five women to work for him over five years. He has a previous conviction in Washington state for promoting prostitution.
As part of his sentence he’ll have to pay restitution to five women.

The Impresario, translated, means the entertainment manager of an opera or ballet company. This version of the opera tells the tale of the Elliot Bay Opera Company’s impresario, Lynn Burns, and her struggle to manage two competing divas and keep the company in business.
The group performed The Impresario in Issaquah before visiting EvCC; they will be performing it again in Seattle’s Emerald Hall on March 25.
Because the opera is so short – less than 40 minutes – the group added on a second act to perform for the EvCC audience.
The second act was a compilation of arias from various operas, all grouped together under the title “Aspects of Operatic Love.” The types of love ranged from an over-confident love of self in The Sun, Whose Rays are All Ablaze to a melancholy hopeless love in Lonely House. The set even included one piece, Glitter and Be Gay from Candide, in which Daly acted the part of a high-priced call girl singing about her love of jewelry.

We have two interesting stories culled from online magazines, television stations and newspapers around the Northwest, this time from Vancouver, B.C.,  and Tacoma.
The detective said he was met at the door by two “very young” females who escorted him upstairs to the master bedroom, the documents state. The females were identified as 15-year-old girls.
The detective later reported “he noticed that there was an adult female in the kitchen cooking” and “two very young boys in the living room watching cartoons,” the records show. The woman later was identified as Carr, the boys as her 6- and 4-year-old sons, the documents state.

A Tacoma woman who is accused of allowing two 15-year-old girls to act as prostitutes is jailed in Pierce County and charged with two felonies. The acts of prostitution allegedly took place in the woman’s home where her sons also live. Not-guilty pleas were entered Tuesday on behalf of 28-year-old Jacqueline Nicole Carr in Superior Court. She’s charged with two counts of promoting the commercial sexual abuse of a minor. Lakewood Police began investigating after a detective found a print ad that included young girls posing provocatively. KNR
